The first watch in the world to adjust time zones using the bezel
VOGARD has developed a revolutionary watch mechanism, for which a patent application has been filed. This mechanism allows you to set the desired time zone simply by rotating the bezel. This foundation provides a new vision of watch manufacturing considering the case, movement and bezel as a single operating unit. The result is a travel watch with a user-friendliness never before achieved. Another world novelty of the so-called VOGARD Timezoner-System is the possibility of setting and reading summer time.
For the fourth consecutive year, VOGARD chose Baselworld to present its latest creations, all of which reflect the VOGARD philosophy, according to which luxury today must also be intelligent luxury: a luxury product must not only touch the person who wears it, but it must also be practical.
‘Black F1’, with miniature high-tech clutch
This watch is a 'must' for all fans and professionals of motor sports. On the bezel are the biggest automobile circuits and the word 'GP' specifies whether a Formula 1 Grand Prix is in summer time or standard time . The steel case has been reinforced with Titanium-Carbide (TiC), giving both a sporty black color and a surface that is 3 times stronger than plain steel. From Indianapolis to Monte Carlo, via Silverstone, this watch combines high-tech, glamor and speed.
Ultra-resistant housing in black steel and Titanium-Carbide (TiC)
- The surface of the steel housing is first cleaned with meticulous precision then placed in a Compressed Air Chamber. The chamber is heated and the “ion bombardment” process is initiated to prepare the steel. The 3rd step of the process is “cathode bombardment” during which the Titanium and carbide form a Titanium-Carbide (TiC) fusion on the surface.
- This process gives a sporty black color to the metal and increases its strength by 3, going from 400 Vickers to 1200 Vickers.

Telescope:
- It includes the main Formula 1 Grand Prix circuits as well as other major automobile circuits.
- First watch to indicate summer time
- The red ‘GP’ symbol indicates that the Grand Prix is in summer time.
