Tung Hoi South Sea pearls in the 13–17mm range are among the most substantial found in fine jewelry — the graduated sizing of this strand creates a natural depth, the largest pearl at the centre drawing the eye before the strand tapers to its clasp of 18K white gold. At 45 cm, the necklace sits at the sternum, commanding without overwhelming. Made at the Almaz workshop on Vienna's Stephansplatz.
