This French figural mystery swinger clock, circa 1880, is offered by Almaz Atelier as an estate timepiece. A cast metal figure of a robed woman holds a set of dividers in her right hand and supports the swinging pendulum with her left. The pendulum is a long brass rod, roughly 300 mm in length, terminating in a beveled glass bob with a gilt finish; she stands on a gilt brass platform signed "PH. Mourey."
