The Gargola necklace draws from Gothic cathedral architecture — gargoyles and stained glass rendered in gold and stone. The Vitral Collection takes its name from the Spanish word for stained glass, and in this necklace the blue topaz functions precisely as coloured glass does in a cathedral window: as the light source the architectural frame is built to serve.
