CIGA Design Hunter Tourbillon | Grade 5 Titanium | Skeleton Watch

CIGA Design's Hunter Tourbillon opens the architecture of mechanical watchmaking from front to back. Its continuous skeleton construction exposes the movement as an integral part of the design, placing the hand-wound tourbillon and intricate mechanical structure at the centre of the watch.
At its heart is CIGA Design's self-developed CD-011 caliber, a hand-wound skeleton tourbillon movement equipped with twin barrels. The openworked construction reveals the interaction of the movement's components rather than concealing them behind a traditional dial.
The twin-barrel architecture provides an extended 72-hour power reserve, allowing the movement to maintain its mechanical rhythm for three days between winding sessions.
Surrounding the caliber is a sculptural Grade 5 titanium tonneau case. Titanium combines strength with reduced weight, allowing the Hunter's substantial architectural form to retain a lighter presence on the wrist. Sharp facets and precisely defined surfaces reinforce the technical character of the design.
The watch presents two complementary personalities. From the front, its structured skeleton framework creates a controlled, architectural composition around the tourbillon. Turn the watch over and the open reverse reveals greater mechanical depth, extending the back-to-front skeleton concept throughout the piece.
A Grade 5 titanium bracelet continues the angular geometry of the case, while the included fluororubber strap provides an alternative, sportier expression. Together, they allow the Hunter Tourbillon to move between integrated metal architecture and a more technical contemporary appearance.
The result is a watch in which tourbillon mechanics, titanium engineering and skeleton architecture are treated as a single composition.
Mechanical Architecture
The defining feature of the Hunter Tourbillon is its uninterrupted mechanical view. Instead of separating movement and design, CIGA Design uses the CD-011 skeleton caliber itself as a visual element, creating depth through exposed bridges, gears, barrels and the tourbillon mechanism.
About CIGA Design
CIGA Design is a contemporary watch brand recognised for unconventional mechanical watches and an architecture-led approach to timekeeping.
