CIGA Design's U Series Blue Planet Ice Age transforms the brand's celebrated planetary concept into an icy, monochromatic interpretation of Earth. A sculptural globe dominates the dial, pairing cool blue ocean tones with raised silver-coloured continents and an all-white exterior for a striking vision inspired by a frozen planet.
The three-dimensional Earth is more than a decorative dial element. It forms the visual heart of CIGA Design's unconventional approach to displaying time, replacing the familiar architecture of a traditional watch face with a planetary composition in which time appears to travel around the globe.
The Ice Age edition gives the Blue Planet concept a distinctly different personality. Its pale blue centre, textured metallic landmasses and crisp white case and strap create a clean, almost glacial aesthetic while emphasising the depth and relief of the Earth.
