CIGA Design's Hunter turns the mechanical movement itself into architecture. Built around a fully openworked composition, the watch creates an uninterrupted view through its structure, revealing the interaction of gears, bridges and regulating components from front to back.
The traditional tonneau silhouette is reinterpreted through sharp facets and a three-layer structural construction, giving Hunter an industrial, architectural character. Rather than concealing the mechanics beneath a conventional dial, every layer becomes part of the visual identity of the watch.
At its heart is CIGA Design's self-developed CD-07 caliber, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (vph) and providing a 40-hour power reserve. The openworked construction allows the movement to remain visually accessible, turning mechanical function into a central element of the design.
A compact 120° KE-efficient skeletonized rotor is engineered to balance winding efficiency with visibility. Its reduced profile leaves more of the caliber exposed, preserving the transparent character of the watch while supporting the automatic winding system.
The steel architecture combines micro-sandblasted surfaces with polished chamfers, allowing contrasting textures to define the case geometry as light moves across its angular surfaces.
Hunter is presented in four steel expressions — Carbon, Silver, Black and Gold — each giving a different personality to the same mechanical architecture.
Openwork Architecture
Hunter is designed to be read mechanically as well as visually. From its skeletonized dial to the exposed movement architecture, components traditionally hidden inside a watch become an essential part of its appearance.
The result is a contemporary skeleton automatic watch in which case, caliber and structure work as a single composition.
